Administered intravenously, this type of sedation will allow you to receive treatment peacefully as you will be put into a sleep-like, unconscious state. Due to the nature of this form of sedation, you will need an adult to drive you home from your visit while you recover from the sedation.
This form of sedation is commonly referred to as laughing gas. Though it will not put you to sleep, it will put you in a relaxed state where you may forget some, or even all of the treatment process.
